Why have your function at Sturt Bowling Club?
Are you looking for an attractive, flexible, near-city venue for a special occasion;
perhaps a work social function, club meeting or family celebration?
Sturt Bowling Club welcomes enquiries about hiring of our facilities.

Rates are reasonable, service is exceptional.
We're open to a wide range of events, and some of the functions held at the Club in recent times include:
- work social club activity (including fancy dress)
- organisational awards night
- family reunion
- birthday celebration
- wedding anniversary
- member association meeting
We're flexible about the arrangements. So when you contact us we can talk about a range of options such as:
- whether you self-cater or engage caterers
- whether you use the kitchen and BBQ or not
- whether you use the bowling greens or not
- whether you organise your own music or we do
- whether or not you decorate the venue beforehand.
Greens are available and we can provide all bowling equipment and, if required, assistance from experienced bowlers.
Use may be made of our clubhouse, kitchen, bar facilities and barbeque.
Typical feedback from our clients includes:

- the venue suits both relaxed and formal functions
- the garden surrounds are beautiful
From October to April, availability is generally limited to Fridays and Sundays (daytime or twilight)
due to the Club being committed to Pennant and Night Owls.
Between May and September, we minimise usage of our greens but bookings may be still considered.
Cost to hire the clubroom is $500. This is to use the greens for bowling, access the kitchen and barbecue, staff the bar and provide bowling advice etc. Club is generally available on Friday nights, Saturday nights or Sunday afternoon/evening (and at other times by arrangement)
